can taking baby asprin hurt my child? were still TTC and i was wondering, if im taking low dose asprin once a day ( due to previous miscarriage) if i indeed end up pregnant would it hurt my unborn child it i take it still before i know im pregnant?

Alexandra replied: "No, as long as your doc recommended it. Low dose aspirin therapy is normally used during pregnancy for women with clotting issues that cause miscarriages. It is normally used into the second or third trimester. If you are worried and your doctor prescribed you low dose aspirin, you can always ask for herparin, which cannot cross the placenta. RMRTK - The reason she's taking low dose aspirin is BECAUSE it's a blood thinner, and that's what it's meant to do to help prevent a miscarriage, she's not taking it for pain. I actually looked at my low dose aspirin bottle last night, and it confirmed it was fine during pregnancy, but should not be taking into the 3rd trimester (not because it causes issues with the baby, but just because they want it out of your system before labour potentially starts, since it could cause a bit more bleeding during labour)."

Real Moms Raise Their Children replied: "Yes. Aspirin is a natural blood thinner. Stick with acetaminophen."

BABYNETTE replied: "I was given a baby aspirin when I was pregnant, and it didn't have any affect on my baby."

Giving a dog a very low dose of asprin...will it do anything? I talked this am to the vet and he said to give my 41lb dog 1 baby asprin 81mgs once a day since she injured her leg yesterday. I was just looking online for hurt legs and saw the actual rec dosage on numerous websites is 5mgs per lb every 12 hours. Will such a low dose help her at all? Thanks Thanks guys I was not asking if I shoudl give more just if such a low dose would help at all. And ALL the websites I went to had the same recommended dosage not just one or 2.

MHEM replied: "no"

Angelo replied: "give your dog half an asprin"

I Love Him replied: "it will help them. my aunt gives her rot willer low does of asprin all the time for his paw pads and hes fine. exactly she gives him baby asprin"

rescue member replied: "Not likely, and I would get a better vet if I were you. There are plenty of relatively safe pain meds for dogs, Metacam, Rymadil, etc. Why would ANY vet recommend aspirin when it can cause internal bleeding?"

Muschi replied: "Yes it will, please follow the vets instructions! "

JE replied: "Okay, first of all. Listen to your doctor. The internet is filled with lies, half truths, and just flat out incorrect information. If your vet said 81 mgs of aspirin will be fine for your dog, then 81mg will be fine."

*MITCH* replied: "I wouldnt suggest giving her any type of medicine, considering that anything could happen to the dog once you give it to him. But if your veterinarian suggests it, who could know better?"

duelly. replied: "wow, that wont do much for her. they are just playing it safe on that dosage. Start with 2 of those baby ones, and see how it reacts."

tealoschaotic replied: "That's reasonably close to what the doc said. I wouldn't give her more. Aspirin can really hurt your dog if given incorrectly."

Sarah replied: "obviously the vet. knows what he or she is talking about, you can never count on the internet anymore be a person that owns four dogs we've gone to the vet many times just see how it goes and if it looks like shes not getting any better then consult your vet first (:"

Angellica replied: "If the vet said to give her that dosage then I think you should."

Dances With Woofs! *R.I.P. LEVI* replied: "No,it won't really do anything.Give the dog about 3/4 of a regular sized Bufferin twice a day, with food. This should help."

Rainbow Child replied: "Aspirin, my vets never prescribe any human medicines. They only prescribe animal medications."

rodent luver replied: "do what the vet says.she/he is a proffesional and we are not.We are just ppl on the internet."

Damocles replied: "41lbs x 5 mg/lbs = 205mg The problem is, nobody makes a 205mg aspirin, right. You have 325mg (too high) and 81mg (too low). Better too low than too high - too high can cause damage. 81mg will help. Understand that aspirin manages pain, but also increases blood flow. Frankly 81mg isn't going to take as much of the pain away as the recommended 205mg, but it will increase the blood flow and promote healing. Now you could give your dog 2 x 81mg aspirin twice a day. That would be closer to what the web site says. Lastly, who wrote this web site? Heck, I can write a web site. It doesn't take any actual knowledge or credentials to write a web page. Just time and an axe to grind. Frankly, I'd stick with your vet's recommendation. You know your vet went to vet school. You don't know what the person who wrote the web page's qualifications are (even if they say they went to vet school, did they? I suppose your vet could have a fake degree, but I'd trust him/her over some stranger with a web site)."

S replied: "I would give her (1) 360 ml. ecotrin coated aspirin. Do not give tylenol or ibuprofen."

JenVT replied: "Yes. Too much will negatively affect her liver. They recommend only one even for large dogs."

T replied: "Over-The-Counter Medications You Can Give To Your Pet Info is Listed in the following order: Medicine Notes Dosage How Often Buffered Aspirin For dogs only. Pain relief, anti-inflammatory. 1 tablet per 60 Lbs. 2 times per day Baby Aspirin For dogs only. Pain relief, anti-inflammatory. 1 tablet per 15 Lbs. 2 times per day"

What can you do if your period is coming more often than once a month? At first I thought I was going crazy a little. I thought they were coming a little too regular, but since I didnt keep written track of them I wasnt sure. Oh yeah and when I take enough asprin my period is only 2-3 days long.

gwennthered replied: "Go to the doctor instead of asking about periods here, maybe?"

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz replied: "See a doctor."

Boo Boo S replied: "well,2-3 daqys is normal,it has nothing to do with the asprin,my GF's is barly 2 days"

babychael replied: "do you spot or is it a heavy flow? if its heavy you should go to the doctor to see if everything is ok and make sure that nothing is wrong"

bakfanlin replied: "You might need to see a gynecologist. They can prescribe a medication... likely birth control... to help get your periods on track. Don't use aspirin... it just eats up the lining of your stomach... and really doesn't do anything for your periods."

Ginnivieve T replied: "First of all... you must keep track. Even for things that don't have to do with our lady parts Dr's still ask you when your last menstrual cycle was. It is important because if our period is irregular there could be many things that could be going on. A lot of time I have the same situation, and it is brought on by stress. I suggest making an appointment."

sumgirl replied: "ask your mom about it - she will help you! If you dont have a mom - im sorry - but then ask some older female who cares about you and will tell you the right advice about this stuff - dont ask on here.. tho the advice i can tell you is that, your you - and each and every one of our periods are differnt - there is nothing wrong - i know someone whos is like almost a month long and comes out real heavily, but she learns to cope with it - it sucks but oh well! srry, if i sound harsh! :D"

JEFF S replied: "Not that this will make you trust me but Im a nurse, Im answering this under my boyfriends account. A lot of times when your periods are coming more often then they should Doctors will put you on birth control. No this doesnt mean you have to be sexually active but birth control is often used to regulate periods. My periods were coming to often as well and when I was put on birth control my periods were regular. On the same day of the week every 28 days. It was great I could finally perdict when my periods were coming and not have to worry about how many times a month I will have one. If birth control isnt an option then you should really see a doctor there are other types of medications the doctor could put you on Im sure. Hope my advice helped."

CrunchyCon replied: "You need to find out why that is happening. That is not normal and there's something out of whack with your hormones that needs to be fixed. A doctor will probably prescribe birth control to regulate your period but that's not enough, that's just treating the symptom, not finding the cause. Find a doctor who will work with you to find out WHY that is happening. If you are on the birth control patch that could be the cause. I tried it once and the hormones did not last the whole seven days so I would restart my period every Monday. Didn't take me long to switch back to the pill, the patch is inherently evil."

h4ilgoofy replied: "go see a gynecologist but it could be a number of things as you get older women in there 30s for instance will have a monthly more then once a month but to be on the safe side should go see a gynecologist"

Rhubarb replied: "See a doctor. If you go on the pill your period will become regular."

mama replied: "Well everyone is different so you should always talk to your dr if are unsure of anything"

pretzypie replied: "Periods that are too frequent (more often than every 28 days also called "metrorrhagia") can be related to several predisposing factors: If the periods are otherwise normal, then a short "luteal phase" or insufficient ovarian production of progesterone may be responsible. If the periods are inconsistent, then failure to ovulate and the resulting anovulatory bleeding may be responsible. If the periods are actually normal and once a month, but there are episodes of bleeding in between the periods, then mechanical factors such as fibroids or polyps may be responsible. Women with hyperthyroidism are classically described as experiencing frequent, heavy periods. They, in reality, rarely show that pattern, but we usually screen these patients for thyroid disease anyway. Early stages of pregnancy might be a possible cause as well, but it could happen if you change your eating habits, are stressed, have a lot on your mind, etc. Our emotions and hormones collide a lot. I've experienced frequent periods too in the past that was caused by ovarian cysts. There could be other causes for the frequent periods you are experiencing and I would recommend you see your doctor/gyno for further evaluation to see what they think could be causing this. Good luck :)"

multiple pains? seen by my GP and so far have had XRAYS on my chest , 3 blood tests, ECG tests and they cant find anything wrong with me so now I have a Ultrasound scan coming + a visit to general medicine. The last week I have been having a weird pain in the center of my chest UNDER my left rib cage near the breast feels like someone is squeezing somthing as the pains in one small area and the right side next to the breast bone has sudden sharp pains + my abdominal area Along with this is a pain in my right calf but theres no burning or swelling just a weird pain and also pain i had today i was sitting at my laptop when I had a really sharp pain on the curve of my neck on the right side and its left me with a dull pain since then in my neck. I keep thinking I have circulation problems or a blood clot somewhere i so scared i will suffer a sudden death.I have been taking asprin once a day for the last 4 days to help me .anyone know what this is? im 25 m non smoker non drinker and i rarely excercise theres also a pain on the inside of my throat right sided

georgia bulldog replied: "try stress free life along with some exercise stress can cause all sort of symptoms"

jo-jo replied: "rib cage, abdominal pain, could be gas. especially if you get no excerside. pain in the curve of your neck could be your vertebrae are out of whack. I'd see a chiropractor, if I were you. I've been going to one for 20 years and he takes care of a lot of aches and pains for me. (do yourself a favor, get excersise, I do pilates.) I do them at home using a video I bought. I got it by going to and they work beautifully."

I need help with my dog.? I have a 1 year old yellow lab border collie and yesterday we were at the dog park for about an hour. When we came home he was pooped as usual. Well the next morning i noticed him walking like his joints was sore. Which could of happened he was playing pretty rough. As he was getting ready to poop i noticed him lifting his back paw like something was inbetween his toes. I looked at his pad and the back one (the big one) was torn up and i looked at the other paw and it was the same. It looks like he was running on concrete and just ripping up his paws. I was looking for advice to make him more comfortable whlie this heals and i dont want it getting infected. Ive already been giving him asprin once twice a day, once when we get up and once when i get home from work and ive been keeping him quiet, no running or jumping, no walking unless necessary . I was thinking about putting a gauze pad on the area and wrapping it with some tape (the non stick stuff, the stuff they use when you donate blood or plasma, it doesnt hurt when you take it off, ive used it before). After giving him the aspirin he seemed to be perking up, he was walking like an old dog that had arthritis I was going to take off the bandage when i leave for work, he would be in his kennel, and put it on at night. I just dont want it getting dirty when i take him outside. My biggest fear is it getting infected... is it ok to let his continuously lick at it? Its shaking like it is really hurting him when he stops licking at one of his paws.

scealf91 replied: "Just take him to the vet and they will fix it up but he may not be able to walk on them for a while. It was a good idea to use gauze and and wrap tape around it. The same thing happened to my German Shepherd. The vet gave us medicine to apply to her foot pads and after like two weeks they were gone. Hope your dog gets well soon!"

Is it bad to take so much Asprin...? I take like 6-8 a day! Not all at once but like four at a time...is that bad?

marija m replied: "it can kill some ppl..."

Jody replied: "Yes. Unless you are trying to prevent a heart attack, in which case you're still taking too much. If you are in that much pain, you need to see someone about it."

ashrenee0512 replied: "Yeah, it's killing your liver. You should probably see your doctor."

MARIA C replied: "I come from a medical back ground, so I've acquired quite a bit of knowledge through out the years. I also keep up to date on just about everything. Aspirin acts as a blood thinner, so if your takeing more than the amount prescribed on the bottle it is probably way to much. As your family doctor. Why so many aspirins anyway?"

kennysprettylittlewifey(KST) replied: "There has to be a reason that can be resolved as to why you are in so much pain, you shouldn't be taking that much asprin every day. It can kill your liver, and it also thins your blood. Go to the doctor and see if there is an issue that can be resolved."

Anton replied: "You-Should-Not-Take-It if there's no need for it. Now, if you're taking it for pain or something else, first: See a physician. Aspirin is more harmful than you think. Even patients with heart disease are ask to take daily "Baby Aspirin" because the other one is so strong and harmful. Only a physician should advise its use because 6 to 8 per day it's a very high dose and with time you'll have "Serious-Problems"..."

ellen replied: "Yes! It can cause abdominal/gastrointestinal bleeding and can result in ulcers. (This is actually very common...at least inflammation of the GI tract in long-term high dose aspirin users.) You can even get anemia from the bleeding. Why are you taking so much? You need to get this problem fixed."

billi_leli replied: "I would take two maximum. Why do you take so much? It can be toxic!"

armstrong_shakespeare_einstin replied: "6-8.OMG........THIS CAN BE A LETHAL DOSE...TAKE ALOOK ON WHAT I AM SAYIN?!!!!! ASPIRIN is used as an analgesic (to relieve minor aches and pains), antipyretic (to reduce fever), and as an anti-inflammatory. It also has an antiplatelet ("blood-thinning") effect and is used in long-term, low doses to prevent heart attacks and blood clot formation in people at high risk for developing blood clots. High doses of aspirin may also be given immediately after an acute heart attack; these doses may inhibit the synthesis of prothrombin and therefore produce a second and different anticoagulant effect, although this is not well understood. The main undesirable side effects of aspirin are gastrointestinal distress—including ulcers and stomach bleeding—and tinnitus, especially in higher doses. Another adverse effect is increased bleeding in menstruating women, due to aspirin's anticoagulant properties. In children under 12 years of age, aspirin is no longer used to control flu-like symptoms or the symptoms of chickenpox, due to the risk of Reye's syndrome.. Aspirin was the first-discovered member of the class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), not all of which are salicylates, although they all have similar effects and most have some mechanism of action which involves non-selective inhibition of the enzyme cyclooxygenase....this is not imprtant for u that much Anyhow..then u must get from what i said that u can get bleeding and getting bleeding means Anemia in most cases Plus some people have Aspirin Sensitivity from ur words..u don't but it can be by time too YOU must do sensitivity test before taking any drug OF COURSE WHEN THE PHYSICIAN ASKIN SO Plus drugs are not a game..Don't take anything except after the physician telling u so..Even we as pharmacist usually we don't have the right to administer drugs to the patients although we know what we can administer cuz we took a subject called "Clincal pharmacy 1 and 2 and 3".....So we can get it.....But we can just do is if we felt anything wrong or there is a potentail for Drug interaction....All we can do is just adding comments...calling the doctor gave u the medicine and that's all...Accepting or Rejecting the comment depends on him THAT'S WHY AFTER ENDING PHARMACY ..I WILL STUDY MEDICINE..SO AS NOT TO MISS A NANO WORD D'accord.......AGAIN DON'T ADMINISTER DRUGS OR MEDICINES BY YOUR SELF..PLUS TAKING A LOT OF DRUGS LOWER THE IMMUNE SYSTEM..TAKE CARE ----------------------------------------------------------------------- THESE ARE THE DOSAGE AND THE OVER DOSE COMPLICATIONS FROM MY CLINICAL BOOK.."EXCELLENT BOOK"..READ CAREFULLY ----- Dosage For adults doses of 300 to 1000 mg are generally taken four times a day for fever or arthritis, with a maximum dose of 8000 mg (8 grams) a day. The correct dose of aspirin depends on the disease or condition that is being treated. For instance, for the treatment of rheumatic fever, doses near the maximal daily dose have been used historically. For the prevention of myocardial infarction in someone with documented or suspected coronary artery disease, doses as low as 75 mg daily (or possibly even lower) are sufficient. For those under 12 years of age, the dose previously varied with the age, but aspirin is no longer routinely used in children due to the association with Reye's syndrome; paracetamol (known in North America as acetaminophen) or other NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen, are now used instead. Kawasaki disease remains one of the few indications for aspirin use in children, with aspirin initially started at 7.5–12.5 mg per kilogram of body weight, taken four times a day for up to two weeks and then continued at 5 mg/kg once daily for a further six to eight weeks. Overdose Aspirin overdose can be acute or chronic. In acute poisoning, a single large dose is taken; in chronic poisoning, supratherapeutic doses are taken over a period of time. Acute overdose has a mortality rate of 2%. Chronic overdose is more commonly lethal with a mortality rate of 25%; chronic overdose may be especially severe in children. Symptoms Aspirin overdose has potentially serious consequences, sometimes leading to significant morbidity and mortality. Patients with mild intoxication frequently have nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, lethargy, tinnitus, and dizziness. More significant symptoms occur in more severe poisonings and include hyperthermia, tachypnea, respiratory alkalosis, metabolic acidosis, hyperkalemia, hypoglycemia, hallucinations, confusion, seizure, cerebral edema, and coma. The most common cause of death following an aspirin overdose is cardiopulmonary arrest usually due to pulmonary edema. Toxicity The toxic dose of aspirin is generally considered greater than 150 mg per kg of body mass. Moderate toxicity occurs at doses up to 300 mg/kg, severe toxicity occurs between 300 to 500 mg/kg, and a potentially lethal dose is greater than 500 mg/kg. This is the equivalent of many dozens of the common 325 mg tablets, depending on body weight. However children cannot tolerate as much aspirin per unit body weight as adults can. -------------------------------------------------------------------------"

book writer replied: "Aspirins are hard on your kidneys, as a matter of fact, aspirin will destroy your kidneys, so don't take more aspirin than necessary!"

~~Webkinz~~StarDust8493~Nifoula~ replied: "Yeah! It's killing some people. You shouldn't take that much. and really *none*! Unless you are trying to prevent Heart Attacks.See a Local Doctor! NOW!"

Susan Yarrawonga replied: "You don't want to end up on a dialysis machine do you? Besides destroying your kidneys you are likely to get stomach bleeding as well. The less aspirin you take the better. Nil would be better than the maximum of 1 a day."

Blood pressure still going up? I'm female, 44 y.o. and have had a problem with my blood pressure for 6 mo. now. At the time I started having problems with it, I was under alot of stress. I thought that was causing the problem. I ended up going to the Emergency room when my BP spiked to 170/115 head hurt really bad and I was flushed looking. They did an EKG and it was fine, blood work was fine. They put me on 80 MG of Lisinopril. 40MG in the am and 40 MG at night. Didnt work. They said give it 2 weeks, Still didnt work. So I went to A reg. Doc and he said only take 40 MG in the am with, Amlodipine 2 1/2 MG at night. He did a blood profile, and everything came back ok except my good choloesteral, it was to low. So he put me on fish oil 1000 MG a day. plus the trusty asprin a day He also wanted me to take a water pill called Chlorthalid 25 MG once a day. I couldnt take the water pill, I took 1, and my kidneys hurt so bad, I couldnt even walk. Plus, it wasnt making me go to the bathroom. So he said stop taking it. I do need a water pill, My father has fluid around his heart, with big time heart problems. So I quit the water pill. Everything has been going ok with my BP our goal was 120/75, and it stayed there for a while. BUT, I fixed the problem that was causing the stress, about 3 weeks ago. right before I fixed the problem, my BP started creeping up. I'm not to worried about it right now, it's only running around 150/98 But if it keeps going up???? MY question, is why isnt the meds working any more ? I'm in a happy place, I'm loosing weight, trying to quit smoking, My bad back stops me from exersizing, Please help me figure this out. I have 5 kids and 3 grandbabies I want to be around for. Why haven't I gone back to the docs? I moved. Hubby just now got a job will be a week before he gets his first paycheck,

JennyH replied: "The first thing is....and I know you probably hate hearing this, but I am sure smoking is a big factor in your blood pressure raising, also you have a family history of heart disease. I would continue with the medications, make the doctors appointment. They probably will have to make med. adjustments, maybe the Lisinopril is not working for you anymore. Your health is way more important, then worrying about paying them. Have them bill you. Explain to them your situation when making the appointment, they will understand. If they make you wait,, then I suggest finding another doctor. Are you seeing a cardiologist...if not I suggest you start seeing one, given your history. This needs to be taken care of...your BP being too high can cause a heart attack or stroke. Good luck to you!"

gangadharan_nair replied: "You have got hypertension- stage 3, your blood pressure being 170/115 mmHg. Your pulse pressure is 170--115 = 55 mmHg. Research suggests that an elevated pulse pressure (> 40 mmHg) may be a strong predictor of heart problems, especially for older adults. Blood pressure 150/98 mmHg comes under stage 1 hypertension. Pulse pressure is 52 mmHg. Lisinopril is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It is used in combination with other medications to treat heart failure. Lisinopril is also used to improve survival after a heart attack. Lisinopril is in a class of medications called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It works by decreasing certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels, so blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently. Amlodipine is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and chest pain (angina). Amlodipine is in a class of medications called calcium channel blockers. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels so the heart does not have to pump as hard. It controls chest pain by increasing the supply of blood to the heart. If taken regularly, amlodipine controls chest pain, but it does not stop chest pain once it starts. Your doctor may prescribe a different medication to take when you have chest pain. Chlorthalidone, a 'water pill,' is used to treat high blood pressure and fluid retention caused by various conditions, including heart disease. It causes the kidneys to get rid of unneeded water and salt from the body into the urine. Secondary causes of hypertension are due to kidney problems. Please check the function of your kidney ( for microalbuminura, creatinine, blood urea nitrogen) and heart ( for hypertrophy/ hypertensive heart disease) and retina (for hypertensive retinopathy). Hence you consult a Nephrologist. Please note that I am not a medical professional."

Melmo replied: "There are several things you wouldn't think of that raises the BP that you should avoid. Caffeine, smoking, salt, (check your soda (pop) there is tons of sodium (salt) in soda) diet soda has even more sodium than regular soda, keep stress under control, read labels- a lot of times things are loaded with salt and you think they are good for you, even things like granola bars, etc. drink lots of water it will make you pee and flush salt out of your system, no alcohol, no chips, fries or fast foods (they use a lot of salt in fast foods, no weiners or lunch meat (loaded with salt) if you eat or drink any of these things that could be why you have high BP. A good fluid reducer is HCTZ, mention it to your Dr, he will know what I am talking about and you can start at 12.5 mg and move up to 25 or 50mg if it helps but you need a script for them. I take it, it is in my BP pills and my BP is finally great."

How do I control being stressed out? I have a problem. It only happens once in awhile. I get really stressed out. I work 10 hours a day and I've been doing overtime since december of last year. I workout excerise but it seems like its not enough. I drink hot tea and take asprin. Do I need to see a doctor? Or just stop doing overtime when they ask me at work? Is it because I'm not getting enough sleep?

Texas Cowboy replied: "Stop your overtime for a week and see if it helps. Hot tea and aspirin are not enough. You need to relax."

tarxi replied: "Try Chinese herbs"

susie q replied: "You need to find a balance of work and play. Try working for fewer hours you are exhausting your brain working hard like that for 10 hours daily. Go out on weekends and get a love interest. If you already have one, physical interaction will put you in a better mood for those stressful days. Take warm, long bubble baths. Lean back on the tub and close your eyes and do nothing for a while but listen to music if you want. Do this as long as you can. Get alot of sleep. Have a social life. Get weekly massages for a half and hour every week. Do yoga or meditate. Take vacations and don't be too hard on yourself. If you don't reach every single goal, don't get dismayed. You need a break and you need balance. Good luck!"

oldmanwitastick replied: "Hot tea? It means nothing unless it's the right tea. like: Catnip tea, Chamomile tea. These are calming teas, that give you a since of well being. Exercise is very good for stress. Also if you can learn self hypnoses it works extremely well."

Geegee replied: "You are probably correct in that you are not getting enough sleep. Be sure that you are not over-doing it with the over-time work as well. Your body functions on a seven day clock. Regularly take a day off where you completely stop and rest. Don't be held to a schedule on that day. A lot of people go to church on that day and free themselves from any excess demands. If you believe in God, He also says it in the fourth commandment: "Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work, but the seventh day...in it, thou shalt not do any work." (Read it in a King James version of the Bible.) If you believe that God made us (which He did!), you need to read the manual for our body's care. It's there! Continue to exercise and eat right, drink your water, and get some rest! (Also, don't eat too late, or your sleep will be unrestful.)"

Why am I getting head aches from eating sugar? I get head aches really frequently, like almost 3 or 4 times a week. I've noticed that when I eat a fairly large amount of sugar at once, I get a HORRIBLE head ache that doesn't go away for a whole entire day or longer. I know that if I take asprin or something it usually temporarily relieves it, but I kinda want to know the reason why it happens. Is there something wrong with me, or does that happen to most people?

Fe replied: "mayb u have devolept diabetes"

Goat G replied: "u could be diabetic"

That Greek Guy replied: "dont wnna scare u but i mite hav diabetes or just sugar rush so dont eat too much sugar it gets u FATTtttttttttttttttttttt"

artsy K replied: "yes it is possible to be diabetic but that's not the only possibility. you can check your blood the next time it happens though. your sugar level should be somewhere around 100 but it depends on your age, sex, and body. Helpful tip caffeine can cause migraines in some people"

Do you have any weird reocurring dreams? I keep dreaming about a guy I knew in high school. I had a huge crush on him and he was a "bad boy" and my parents wouldn't let me date him. He ended up actually killing himself by swallowing a whole bottle of asprin after stealing a car one day. Lately I have been dreaming about this guy at least once a week. Last night I dreamed I couldn't picture his face so I went to where he used to live and talked with his mom. His mom gave me a picture. Although in reality I haven't been able to picture the guys face since high school, I saw it vividly in the dream. Weird.

army_wife51b replied: "that is strange..i believe dreams are our subconsious trying to get through and tell us do to things, or give us advice. i always have strange dreams, i think about them thoroughly and try and figure out what my mind is trying to tell me. i think you need some closure on this guy..he probably meant a lot more to you than you think he did. if you can, actually do go to his parents and talk to them about it. that will help you. remember, dreams never lie."

smartypants909 replied: "I keep having a dream that seems so real. I wake up in the middle of the night and see a big spider dangling over my face. I rub my eyes and its still there. I wake up my husband and he turns on the light, and of course there's nothing there. This has been going on for years. I'm not sure if I'm awake and seeing things, or dreaming."

johncondo2001 replied: "I have a dream at this factory for 15 years and it the same people ,same machines,I went to a doctor about it,he could not explain it to me"

naturelover replied: "i used to dream one but many yrs ago. whatever u dream is generally about what u keep thinking or have special place in ur life, so dont worry. good luck."

The rest of the class is there too and we're all listening to a speech by Bob Saget (yes I'm serious I have nightmares about Bob Saget). For some reason or another he gets really angry and falls into a cup of coffee. He turns into a dragon and starts destroying the classroom. My and EMily run down the hall and he chases after us. Then I wake up. I have the dream at least once a year for 13 yrs now."

Then I'd hide behind this chair and as the mud monster got ready to gobble me up, I'd wake up.. Over the years I have grown to believe that the mud monster was my stepfather..."

ptr_tape replied: "First a few thoughts about your dream. Now, some people could interpret that this guy has some importance in your life. I would disagree; in the dreams most things that represent something don't exactly look like the thing they represent. In this case, I would guess the appearing of this guy means that you have been lately thinking about matters related to incidents in your life back then. Most of these questions would probably fold around the concept of parenthood: were your parents right when they didn't let you date him? How much should you try to choose your child's friends? How can you be such a good parent, that your child won't become a "bad boy" like that guy? Did his parents do something wrong, or do things like that just happen? Now, I don't know if you have children of your own, or what would make you think parenthood, but I would guess it is a birth of a child somewhere near you (or your own child growing up to the age where he/she starts to hang out with other children). Now about your question. Last time I had a recurring dream was when I was 6 years old. That's a long time ago, but that dream had a big influence in my life back then, and still has. I learned to control my dreams, and it started to teach me how to face my fears in the real world too. The dream was about some kind of a monster hiding in the darkness in our living room (which was between my bedroom and my parents bedroom in my childhood home). From time to time I still think about that dream, and occasionally visit that house in my dreams (sadly this is the only option, because that house doesn't exit in the real world anymore). Every time I've given particular thought to that dream, I've learned something about my childhood or life in general. Sweet dreams."
